Join me as I dive into the heart of one of Milwaukee’s most exhilarating traditions: the Polar Bear Plunge! Every year, hundreds of brave (or perhaps slightly unhinged) individuals gather to take a bone-chilling leap into the icy waters of Lake Michigan, all in the name of fun and community spirit. This year, I brought my camera along to capture every wild, shivering moment of this unforgettable event. From the hilarious costumes to the collective adrenaline rush, you'll see it all—including my wife, who decided to join the madness herself. THE MAN BEHIND THE LENS

Meet Jim Sinicki the photographer and the guy behind Charlie James Photo. Born and raised in Milwaukee, WI he lives for the city and works hard to tell her stories.


Jim Sinicki is:

- A father and husband

- A lover of all things baseball and a life long die hard Milwaukee Brewers fan he can talk your ear off for hours and discuss stats, historical games, and anything else on and off the diamond.

- A self described coffee and whiskey snob

- A lover of all things photography who stays up way too late and gets up way too early to learn, improve on, and immerse himself in his craft
